The inspiration for "Zoobie: the Internet Marketing Newbie" stemmed from Brunson's own experiences as a fledgling internet marketer. "I was getting scammed left and right from 'get rich quick' schemes and business opportunities that promised the sizzle and not the steak," says Brunson. "Most of the mistakes Zoobie makes in the cartoon were committed either by me or someone I know. The cartoon's a fun way to educate internet marketing beginners on how not to make money online."
